I’m so excited to blog about Tyler and Saffron’s wedding. This one is a unique one since I actually didn’t photograph it. My sweet friend and associate Kristina, was kind enough to step in for me the day of their wedding. When first met Saffron over zoom, I could tell that she and Tyler were vibrant people with kind souls. It was evident from the stories she told about them, how they met, how long they’ve been together, and most of all, about their tight knit body of friends and family that have been eager for them to tie the knot! Our personalities seemed to really mesh and I was looking forward to documenting, and celebrating… (maybe busting the worm out) their wedding. Unfortunately, a huge change happened with our family and we got stationed in the UK 2 months before their wedding.
So even though I wasn’t able to be there in person, opening up their photos and getting the film back from the lab was like Christmas. It was a new type of joy and excitement that I’ve never had before. I can honestly relate now to the anticipation brides feel waiting for their galleries as I waited on the other side of the world in a different time zone to get the images in order to start working on them! I’m about 3/4’s of the way through and I can’t wait to deliver this full gallery!!
