I’d been following Tara for months working up to this session. I’ll even admit that I enjoyed her cute Instagram stories and posts in anticipation of meeting them! When I finally got to meet them I was blown away! Tara welcomed me with open arms and a warm smile as if we’d been friends for years! Tara and Matt have a love to look up to. It was so evident the love they had for each other and for their children! And Brady and Peyton were so well behaved and up for anything I asked of them! It was adorable to see the little boys fight over who got to hold their sister’s hand and help her walk.
Let’s not forget little miss Olivia! Boy is she cute! Those cheeks just take me back. My little boy had the chubbiest cheeks when he was little and what’s not to love about a little baby chub with a bow! Then there was her smile and contagious laugh! Little children just have the ability to brighten your day!
Pretending to be hit in the face, while making sound effects was about the only thing that would get this sweet little girl to giggle.
We’ve all been there. We’ve all done something so atypical and maybe even embarrassing to get our kids to laugh, smile, or look at us!
Family sessions are often a little unconventional, let’s be honest. I’m sure onlookers along the beach always have something to giggle at. I’m grateful for Pete and Vicky who were there to help out with kids in the background! Grandparents are so fun to have at a family session! If you have the chance to bring them along, It’s always a pleasure having them around to help out when I’m getting photos of the parents alone! When we did our family photos, it would have been nice to have someone there to keep my child from eating dirt while Don and I got our photos done! (; So I’m always up for having family around. Not to mention Pete and Vicky were hilarious!
The Olivers are such radiant people with the ability to bring a smile to your face in seconds. Their family was so real, and raw that it brought this natural appreciation that made me want to go home and hug my family! I’m grateful for my wonderful clients like these guys!
