Bare with me as I brag about Utah again. Some of you may think this plain open space is ugly with hardly any shrubbery or trees. I beg to differ. I couldn’t be more in love with the open space for miles! Not to mention the small ridge of mountains just surrounding everything! Utah is home and will always be!
I’m so glad I got to have such a fun family behind my camera in such a gorgeous location!
Everyone meet the Carvers! The Carvers were really good family friends of ours before leaving Utah for North Carolina. Almost every week we would do dinner at one of our houses along with another friend. We would cycle between our three houses every week and just enjoy some quality food with quality friends!
We’ve been trying to find friends out in North Carolina who would like to start this up with us again but with everyone moving all the time (#militarylife) it can be tricky! It definitely became one of our favorite things to look forward to and we grew some really strong friendships because of it! (I’m currently using the Carver’s ‘pack and play’ while I stay here because I was tired of getting kicked in the back hahaha! Talk about good friendship!)
I’ve loved seeing Chris, Ali, and their son, Roland again and seeing how much everything has changed! Roland has gotten SO big since I’ve seen him last, it’s so hard to believe I’ve been gone a whole year! And their sweet little dog, Junie is so adorable too! Shooting this session was once again, not work at all, but pure fun! I love all my clients, I really do, but it’s especially great when they are some of my best friends! It doesn’t get better than that people! And I still have a few more sessions to go!
