She rolls up, parks the car and gets out. As she steps out of the car, I notice she’s in a T-Shirt and sweats. (I don’t blame her that’s practically all I wore my last few months of pregnancy). My first thought was about to be, “I can work with this…..” but before I could, she assured me that she would be changing. 5 Minutes later, this pregnant goddess walks out from behind the car and I could swear she was a mix between Pocahontas and Beyoncé!!!
The next thing I noticed was her hair! How could I not? Keep scrolling and you all will have hair envy too!
But the best thing about this session, was Gabby and Andrew’s personalities.
They came into this session with not only grace and confidence but vibrance! Gabby and Andrew were a breath of fresh air.
Gabby had a smile and a laugh that was so bubbly and contagious it was impossible to not laugh right along with her. The spirited dynamic she carried about her was more than intriguing. It was infectious (she HAS to be related to Pocahontas)! And lets not forget about Andrew! Even though this whole session was a surprise for him after being deployed for some time, he was as giddy, and lively as Gabby was, making her laugh with goofy faces behind the camera! Talk about a power couple!
The joy in these photos is evident, but the tender devotion and love is undeniable. I absolutely LOVE Maternity sessions, because it gives me the chance to slow things down and let my clients soak in the moment; it allows them to think about getting to hold their little boy or girl for the first time, to see their spouse become a parent they’ve always imagined, and to appreciate the beautiful changes pregnancy brings! This, to me, is so special. There is so much beauty in this whole process and I’m grateful I get to share these moments with wonderful couples like these two!
Mia is going to be one loved little girl.
