I was eager for this wedding since May of this year, thanks again Covid. But I’m even more eager to share the images from Heather and Anthony’s Wedding at Copper Ridge! Such a cozy, classic venue for an October wedding, I will say. The chill in the air was crisp and inviting, but the people were warm and welcoming!
When I met Heather and Anthony for lunch at their first consultation, I remember thinking they were the cutest couple! One of my favorite things was that Anthony wasn’t shy at all! Most of the time, the men usually sit back and listen. Not Anthony. In fact, he was the first one to perk up and tell me about how they met and how he proposed! I love couples like this because my husband and I are both pretty outgoing people. And I resonate with that! Both Heather and Anthony were so easy to talk to it all felt like we were friends already just sitting down for a meal to catch up!
Fast forward, to the following year, May came around for their original date, and things had to be rescheduled understandably so. Tough decisions had to be made and because of that, undoubtedly it made October that much sweeter when it rolled around after such a long wait! Two genuine people that made for just a genuine day!
It’s a little bitter sweet. I found out our family received orders to southern california AFTER shooting this wedding. My last wedding here in North Carolina and I had no idea. After getting the film back from the lab, I’ve taken a little more tender time to go through and delicately match the digital to the film in order to make sure each and every photo represents their day in its entirety.
Heather and Anthony, happy 1 month anniversary (almost)! I hope this month as been a joy to you and worth a little extra wait!
