Everyone meet the Henrys!
This session was my first session here in North Carolina and it treated me so well! I’ll admit, I was a little bit nervous considering the landscape is a little different than my Utah landscape, but I learned pretty quickly that North Carolina really has a lot to offer as well!
We went to this tiny little town called Emerald Isle where you have to cross this arch like bridge.. (it’s pretty awesome) to get to the isle and you can pretty much see the water on both sides of it as you drive down the main road.
Because this is North Carolina, we started with the beach, and then moved on to a little greenery! I Love the trees here by the way. So get used to seeing pictures with lots of greenery.
Anyway, now on to a little bit about Lindsay, Marshall, and Rylan-Ray! When I first met them Lindsay was easy to joke around with! Our personalities clicked fairly easy and the whole session turned into laughs. Marshall was a bit quiet at first but he warmed up really quick once the awkward first 20 minutes of the session where everyone thinks, “I’m smiling for a complete stranger” went away and we got to get to know each other a little bit. Rylan-Ray is a sweet little 9 month old who is a little bit scared of the ocean, but loves just about everything else! He was so cute.. All smiles the entire session! The best part about the session was that I was able to make new friends! I’m all about meeting new people and creating friendships, but I mean it with these guys! As we got to know each other during the session we discovered that we are both new to the area, both new to the Marine Corps life, both live in the neighborhood, and we both have little boys! We’d already started making plans and the session wasn’t even over yet hahaha!
I know I probably say this a lot, but I really am so grateful for the opportunities photography gives me to meet such wonderful people! Now I’ll hush up and let you all enjoy a few pictures of the Henrys!
