Hi guys! Aside from the ‘about me’ post, this is my first official post that has to do with my clients! I want everyone to meet Camille and Austin! They will be getting married in June and I can tell they are excited! I posted a little short tid bit about them on Instagram for a sneak peak but now I get to tell you all about this session!
So I met Camille and Austin though an old coworker when I worked as a lifeguard! That’s right, you read that correctly. I went from being a lifeguard, to a mommy, and now a photographer! Anywhoosers, my coworker recommended me to them because they needed some engagements done, seeing as their wedding day is coming around the corner pretty quickly! But unfortunately I won’t be shooting their wedding unless they want to buy a $400 ticket from North Carolina since we will have moved by then. However, I did get the privilege of taking their engagements!
What I loved about this session was that Camille was originally a little timid and hesitant to show very much ‘PDA’ as she said, but as soon as she was around Austin, she changed from ‘there is a camera in my face’ to totally comfortable with her fiance! That is everything a photographer wants! It was so cute seeing their personalities come out throughout the session. Austin is a very boisterous guy and has the ability to spark instant laughter! Not only is he fun to be around, but he has a contagious laugh! The couple as a whole were wonderful to work with and were so willing to do whatever I asked even if it meant stepping into cold water with a heavy breeze! They both have hearts of gold! Near the end of the session, Austin mentioned he was from Canada! Now, I don’t know why it fascinated me so much, I mean Canada is directly above us, but I was just in awe, asking him tons of question! He then pulled out a Canadian 5 dollar bill, and asked me to try and rip it. So here I am making a fool of myself trying to rip this money, and folks, they don’t rip. He told me I can keep it, and though it may have been a small thing to him, I LOVE getting souvenirs from my clients! It was a privilege to get to know Camille and Austin!
