Southern Utah Family Session | The Archibalds | St. George

For the second time, I got to photograph the Archibald family only with a new little addition this time!! I did their family photos about 2 years ago before we moved out here to North Carolina and fell in love with them! Plus, I don’t think I’ll EVER get over the location we did their first photos! I’ll link that session here if you want to check it out! Regardless, It’s incredible the amount of changes that happen in just 2 years!

This sweet family is full of energy and laughter!

Little miss Eilla (first of all, how beautiful is her name?!?). Where do I even start with this cutie! She has GROWN! But her personality hasn’t changed one bit! And I couldn’t be more grateful! This little high spirited girl brings so much fun to the table! We literally couldn’t stop laughing throughout the session! She’s a lovely little fireball full of cuteness!!

Then little Griffin just made my day! (And made me miss my baby a little bit). But what a cute kid! I was happy to get some really cute ones of him smiling that I included below!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, my FAVORITE family sessions happen, when the parents relinquish their need for the “perfect family photos” and let go of the expectation they have for their kids, and embrace the lovely chaos they are! Not only does it allow the family to just be present in the moment, and play and have fun, but your kids LOVE IT! And it’s refreshing to let go of that extra stress that normally IS family photos! Am I right??

Literally, Southern Utah, fuels my heart! I can’t get over the amount of beauty there! I love North Carolina, and I’ve actually been enjoying this heat and humidity a little…(I’m sure I’ll be sick of it in a couple weeks…) but Utah checks almost all the boxes for us. It was fun talking with Summer and Chris about the differences in the states and realizing, that I never appreciated the scenery until I left it. So my photographer heart felt happy and rejuvenated with this sweet little family!
